I first want to thank everyone for their positive comments. It has been a long summer promoting and being involved in politics for at the local and federal level. While working on my campaign in Helena, Arkansas, I was asked by many residents to run for mayor to help them turn this once jewel town on of the Mississippi Delta into a once again a proud city. Like most communities around the United States, the unemployment rate has taken a tole causing the housing market to crash along with businesses. The community is infused with grants from the federal, state, and private organizations which it to improve the community instead the money never makes it to those it was to help. In my upcoming blogs I will be addressing this issue not only on the local levels but the federal level to stop and prevent grant fraud.
